Hello, my name is Aika. Growing up in Osaka, Japan’s second largest city, I’ve always had a passion for meeting new people and exchanging cultures that let me to become a Japanese teacher! My mission is to help individuals from all over the world speak Japanese with confidence.

My career has begun Since 2018, I went to study abroad to learn English in Canada. I started teaching Japanese to my language exchange partners at first, soon I realised that how much I enjoy teaching Japanese and love seeing the progresses they made, then I decided taking it more further to become a professional Japanese teacher. Ever since I have been teaching Japanese to students ranging from ages 9 to 65, covering all levels from beginner to advanced.

In my free time, I love crocheting, cooking,going to the gym and anything related to be in nature. I’m also passionate about surfing and try to get to the ocean as often as I can!!

I believe the most important thing is that you enjoy yourself while learning Japanese.
