I’ve been studying with Aika Sensei for quite some time now, and she’s excellent at explaining things in both Japanese and English (when required). Her ability to adjust her vocabulary to match my level has ensured that I’ve never felt overwhelmed or confused. Not only does she provide clear explanations of grammar points during class, but even after the lesson has ended, she continues to support my learning by writing a thoughtful recap of everything we’ve discussed, helping me review and consolidate my understanding.

Since the beginning, we’ve read together a good number of fairy tales and short stories, such as the unforgettable "Run, Melos!"  (走れメロス, Hashire Merosu). Every lesson felt like a new adventure, always leaving me with a smile. Not only have these stories been a source of fun and entertainment, but they have also been incredibly valuable for improving my grammar, vocabulary, and overall language skills.

One of the highlights of my learning experience with Aika Sensei was when, during a class via Skype, she took me on a tour around Osaka, showing me the city. It was an amazing way to learn – it felt so natural and fun, and I appreciated how she seamlessly incorporated language practice into the experience. Let’s do it again!!

私は二年の前からに日本語を勉強しているし、色々な先生との授業をしたし、私の体験を踏まえて素敵な先生を見つけるのはかくじつ簡単ではありません。それでアイカさんと知り合って非常に嬉しいです。アイカさんはいつも生徒達にあったレベルに応じて教えたりしてくれています。

During the lessons with Aikasan I always think that time flies so quickly. I have so much fun.

I usually prepare my work sheets that I want to train with her in the session. With her help I have learned a lot. I create my own sentences which are often wrong, she corrects my sentences and gives explanation. I appreciate that a lot. So far it has been my third package with her and I know I just want to continue with her.

This was my first lesson with Aika-san and I enjoyed it very much! I will continue taking Aika-san's lessons.

Aika-san is a very patient and supportive teacher. Her Japanese is easy to understand and I felt comfortable talking to her. Aika-san is active during the dialog which is great and is a good thing for those (like me) who have a hard time sustaining discussion themselves. She also explained every new word or phrase very clearly.

Aika-san talks in a very friendly way developing a cozy atmosphere during the lesson what I liked a lot. I definitely recommend taking Aika-san's lessons.
